Assistance

Since our founding in 2008, Hollywood Remembers has been committed to assisting people living with HIV and AIDS.  Below are a few of the ways in which we hope to assist our communities, making them stronger and healthier for everyone.

Larry Long Memorial Fund

The Larry Long Memorial Fund provides micro-grants directly to individuals suffering from HIV/AIDS to help them overcome the unforeseen temporary obstacles they may face.  Examples of past grants include a grant to assist with housing  for an HIV patient who was out of work following a severe illness and long-term hospital stay, a grant to assist with transportation costs for an HIV-positive individual looking for work, and grants to individuals needing assistance in paying for their HIV-related medication.

Partnership with Lens Crafters

In 2011, Hollywood Remembers formed a partnership with Lens Crafters to help provide vision services to marginalized communities sufferings from HIV/AIDS.  If you are HIV-positive and in need of vision care services, please contact us at
